Woody Cary is the founder of Platinum Interchange and our associated management company, Tricom Management (www.tricommanagement.com). He remains actively involved in both organizations daily operations. Platinum Interchange and Tricom Management are leaders in the industry as evident by winning 209 ARDA (American Resort Development Association) Awards to date. Woody possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience concerning the timeshare industry, hotel and resort, development operations and just about anything else concerning resorts and vacationing. Woody is a true mentor to those in the organization and sincerely cares about the industry and owners.
Woody established Platinum Interchange with the purpose of providing exchange services to those owners who were either frustrated by or had since dropped their membership with the Exchange Company affiliated with the resort where they bought their first timeshare week. Platinum Interchange was created for the purpose of providing AN ALTERNATIVE COMPANY for exchange services, if other exchange companies could not fulfill their requests, to these owners without the need to burden them with another membership fee and to ensure that if they could not obtain the desired exchange destination, they could always enjoy their week at their home resort (many properties are dual or multi affiliated). Tricom Management's goal was a happy dues paying owner for every timeshare interval sold.
Joe Uribe has worked with Platinum Interchange since 2001. Joe began his career with Platinum Interchange as a Vacation Counselor. Numerous customers over the years would write to us commending his excellent customer service, friendly personality, and the willingness to go above and beyond in following up with their requests. Joe has received 1 ARDA Award. About four years ago, Joe was promoted to overseeing the Exchange Department. Joe routinely attends industry conferences each year to stay informed and is even the vice president of Just Resorts. We are proud to have Joe on our team and he represents us very well.
In 1998, Jamie Ibarra started as Office Assistant and has since moved to the Customer Service Dept. with Platinum Interchange. Jamie also works with the various philanthropic groups Platinum Interchange and Tricom Management support. Jamie is a proud mama to one feisty 5 year old boy, 2 cats, and recently added a puppy to the family. She also spends time “attempting” to cook.
It's been 10 years since Joz Zavlyn began his career with our company. Originally, in 1998, Joz started working at the Jockey Club resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shortly after Tricom Management began managing the Jockey Club, Tricom quickly recognized Joz’s keen customer service talent and promoted him at the front desk. Joz continued to impress guests, owners and Tricom with his sincere and caring demeanor and was promoted to the Business Development Department within Platinum Interchange about five years ago. Joz is the trainer for Platinum Interchange and teaches all new team members how to book exchanges and rentals with a winning customer service attitude. Next time you are in Las Vegas, stop by Platinum Interchange’s office in the Jockey Club and Joz will assist you with your exchange and rental requests. Joz is truly tops in customer service and even ARDA agrees by awarding him 3 awards to date.
Since 1997, Lynn Hall has worked with Platinum Interchange. She is based in our corporate office in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lynn originally started as a Vacation Counselor in the Anaheim, California corporate office and quickly was promoted to Inventory Control Manager. Lynn has received 9 ARDA (American Resort Development Association) Silver Awards for various categories including: Owner Relations Staff Member, Owner Relations Manager and Technology Team. She regularly represents Platinum Interchange at regional and ARDA conferences, resort owner meetings and events, and just about anything we participate in. We are proud of Lynn’s dedicated years of service to our customers and to the organization. Lynn is a true customer service talent!
Sandra Herrejon began working with Platinum Interchange in 1998 as a Vacation Counselor in our Anaheim, California corporate office. Sandra’s top customer service soon earned her the promotion as Reservations Manager. Sandra received two ARDA awards for her strong customer service skills, which is an honor to be recognized amongst our industry competitors. Sandra sincerely cares about making your vacation experiences perfect. She is always friendly and informative in assisting customers with their exchange and rental needs. Sandra loves to travel the world; her vacation to Australia is now one of her most memorable trips. She also enjoys painting in oils and exhibiting her art. In 1979, Chris Burhans originally started working with our associated full-service timeshare management company, Tricom Management, Inc. (www.tricommanagement.com). Chris gradually transitioned to working with Platinum Interchange in 2002. Chris started out as a hard-worker and continues at this pace to this day. She’s been recognized by ARDA and received two Silver Awards for her outstanding management experience. She is a true asset to our organization and represents our Customer Service department well.
Yvonne started her career with Platinum Interchange in 2006 as a Vacation Counselor. Because of her positive attitude, genuine caring personality and the will to go the extra mile she has quickly became a customer favorite. She has received recognition in Timesharing Today and also won a gold ARDA award in 2009 for her outstanding customer service. In her free time Yvonne enjoys playing tennis, biking, reading, cooking and spending time with her friends and family. Since 2004, Alexandra “Alex” Magana has been a Vacation Counselor with Platinum Interchange in the Anaheim corporate office. Alex has always had great customer service throughout the years and really does her best to make sure her customers are happy in every aspect of their vacation. Because of her great customer service and efforts, Alex has gained many loyal customers over the years and she has continued to gain new customers as well. Alex recently became engaged to her boyfriend of 8 years, a Veteran of the United States Army. During Alex’s off-time, she enjoys sketching, spending time with her fiancé, and being a huge animal lover, she enjoys her three cats. Maureen feels that the best part of her job is all the wonderful people –both those who call in and the ones in the office where she works. She loves her two cats. Mystery novels and thrillers are her choice of reading matter. Art is a passion –painting, creating three dimensional, multimedia pieces and working with glass, including stained glass, fused glass and mosaics. Mike Gearhart has been with Platinum Interchange since the summer of 2007 as Vacation Counselor in the Anaheim corporate office. Mike has always shown exceptional customer service. Connie has been with Platinum Interchange since November 2005. Over the years, she has done a lot of traveling and loves it! She finds that it helps her advise her customers with recommendations for traveling. Connie loves gardening, the beach and going to the movies. Cami O’Neal, has been with Platinum Interchange since August 2007, gaining much respect and appreciation from the owners she has worked with. At the age of 21, she has already earned her Associates degree in Interior Design, and is currently in process of earning her Bachelors degree in Photography with a minor in Business Management. Her goal is to open her own interior design business, while doing photography of architecture for different publications on the side. Katie joined the team in 2001 as a Vacation Counselor. She prides herself on excellent communication and great service. Katie also enjoys playing a part in her customer’s vacations. In 2007 she was promoted and although she is now in the Exchange Department she still makes time to provide “perfect vacations” for her longtime customers. In her spare time Katie loves spending time with her husband, two spoiled cats, her friends and family.
